Camping Rules

Arrival / Departure

You should arrive on the site between 1:00pm and 8:00pm. On the day of your departure you should leave by 11:30am.

Please keep the campsite quiet - No loud music and no music at all after 9:00pm. Due to potential noise, generators can only be used by prior arrangement.

Electrical Hookups

Do not charge electrical vehicles from the hookups, there are EV charging points available in Bellingham and Hexham. No electrical heaters in tents.

Dogs need to be kept on a lead at all times. Please don't allow your dog to foul the site.

Barbecues for cooking are fine. If you are using a disposable barbecue please place it on a concrete block to protect the grass. Blocks are provided next to the wind turbine.

Please don't climb on, or over, fences. This damages the fencing and can be dangerous - there are some steep drops beyond some fences. There are safe footpaths down to the burn near the Warksburn picnic area.

No fires of any kind are allowed on the site.

Please keep the campsite clean and use the bins provided.

Please use the yellow recycling bins for paper, card, cans, tins and plastic bottles. Glass can be recycled in the village, the bottle bank is next to the community hall.
